“Aleon is the first song we wrote together when our drummer Campbell joined the band, named after the street in which we held our rehearsals and spent a lot of our time bonding. It’s a song about dealing with and recovering from depression. It’s about having dark thoughts that feel totally out-of-character, coupled with a desperate desire to break free of those thoughts. Many people in the music industry have dealt with depression either first or second-hand; including members of this band. Aleon is a fitting tribute to those who have overcome their struggles, as well as a message of hope for all those who are still struggling.”
